I am supporting Sen. Barack Obama because it's time to put an end to the say-anything-to-win politics of the past.  Together, we can face the challenges of the future with a new kind of politics and a new kind of leadership.

 

This campaign has generated unprecedented enthusiasm all across the country. Hundreds of thousands of supporters have attended events, canvassed their neighborhoods, and organized their communities for Barack and we are two of them.

 

 

I believe in the politics of HOPE and INCLUSION. . . . and we hope you will too!

 

 

I urge you to go to the 13 District GA caucus on Saturday, April 19, 2008 to select your delegates for the for the Democratic National Convention in August 2008.  

 

It's been many years since someone stood up to all of us and challenged us to dream for our country--in dreaming we had a responsibility to help her, to keep safe the principles she was founded under.  Now Obama has reminded us of that possibility--the possibility of America--and the obligation.

 

Our obligation is to stand for those principles, to turn the page. This election is a pivotal point in the history of our country.
